Sandra Cunning holds a Ph.D in Developmental and Cognitive Psychology. She joined Kinark Child and Family Services in 2007 and is currently the agency's Clinical Director of Research and Evaluation.
Sandra Cunning holds a Ph.D in Developmental and Cognitive Psychology. She joined Kinark Child and Family Services in 2007 and is currently the agency's Clinical Director of Research and Evaluation. With her experience in children’s mental health, Sandra’s current focus is on the evaluation of processes and outcomes in implementing evidence-based practices and the development of innovative research projects. Prior to joining Kinark, Sandra, who also has a background in Early Childhood Education, led projects concentrating on Family Group Conferencing and community collaborative services supporting high-risk families with children up to age six. Sandra brings her expertise to several tables in the sector, including the Research Institute for Evidence-Based Social Work Steering Committee (Faculty of Social Work, University of Toronto), the Provincial Centre of Excellence for Child and Youth Mental Health (Research, Initiatives, Training and Education Committee),and the Triple P Research Working Group for Ontario. Sandra also sits on the Triple P International Scientific Advisory Committee.
